"I was born in Burma. My family is Kar-en – the tribal people with long necks. Ever since I was a child I wanted to create – I love colour. I watched my elders in the tribe weave and mix colours – it fascinated me..."
Currently designing for the textile company Longina Phillips, it has been his greatest and most rewarding challenge so far.
"I love to create fresh – and they encourage me to explore new areas – new techniques – and to be totally different. Our tastes are similar – we both love colour. Whether it's accessories or garments, our aim is to be different.
Today I am living my childhood dreams. Everything I create has an invisible thread of Burmese spirit running through it".
