The story of Sally Rose YoungIt all started with a story, found while flicking through a 1950’s Girl’s Journal. It was the story of a young girl called Betty, who at the ripe age of 20, was beginning a new stage of life, she was flying to Paris, stepping out into the unknown and taking it on.
Inspired by Betty’s sense of adventure, ( and being 20 myself) I decided to start my very own, and so ‘Rose flies to Paris’ was born...
Having studied Fine Arts, and now majoring in Sculpture, I wanted to create something different, something personal, and something minimal.
The simple design of the brooches and tags means that they are casual enough to be worn day to day and go with you on your adventures.
It also allows the imagery to take the front seat, because that is what makes them so unique.
Believing strongly in being your own person, I decided to limit my pieces to one off creations, making the purchase a more personal experience for the customer to treasure and know that no one else anywhere in the world has one the same.
Rose flies to Paris is about sharing a love of style, art and something special with like minded people.
